Keith Rollins Joins FlexTech Alliance Governing Board and Robert Tulis is Appointed Dir. of Technology and Business Development

November 4, 2009 – San Jose, Calif. – Keith Rollins, Ph.D, Global Plastic Electronics Business Manager for DuPont Teijin Films has been elected to the FlexTech Alliance Governing Board. Robert W. Tulis, Ph.D, has been appointed to the newly created position of Director of Technology and Business Development. These announcements were made at the conclusion of the FlexTech Alliance quarterly Governing Board meeting, held today at Universal Display Corporation in Ewing, New Jersey.
The mission of the FlexTech Alliance is to facilitate collaboration between and among industry, academia, and research organizations, as well as promote the sharing of practical experience and development of solutions for advancing flexible, printed electronics and displays from R&D to commercialization.
Keith Rollins, a 25 year veteran of the chemicals industry, had previous assignments at Imperial Chemicals Industries (ICI), DuPont, and DuPont Teijin Films. His current business focus is on widespread use of DuPont Teijin Films in flexible electronics and display applications. Dr. Rollins holds degrees from Brunel University, Middlesex, United Kingdom
Robert Tulis joins the FlexTech Alliance following professional assignments at Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), and Polaroid Corporation. He has extensive experience in technology development and technical program management in both the private and public sectors. Dr. Tulis holds degrees from Boston College and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
